The Pittsburgh Sound with Chris Molinari

  • The Century Room 311 East Congress Street Tucson, Arizona, 85701 United States (map)

Pittsburgh is an important and influential city in the history of jazz. Conveniently located on the way from New York City to Chicago, Pittsburgh was a place to stop on the journey where the two sounds blended. The result was a lyrical approach mixing bebop and blues that remains closely associated with the hard bop era until this day.

Chris Molinari brings the sound from his years in Pittsburgh to The Century Room stage with a sextet of Tucson’s best musicians. Special guest Buddy Reiger from Pittsburgh plays piano.

Tickets available soon.
